Cybernetics Faculty of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv was founded on May 6, 1969. Academician of NAS of Ukraine V.M. Glushkov and dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Professor I.I. Liashko were its founders.
